How to find us
The Inn of Acadia is located in the St. John Valley, at the northeasternmost point of Maine. You can find us along the St. John River, directly on the border with the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Québec. The vibrant city of Edmundston, New Brunswick, is located directly across the St John River. We’re one street up from Main Street (U.S. Route 1) near the Madawaska Middle-High School. Nearby are some of the region’s best hiking, mountain biking, and nordic skiing trails, as well as numerous museums and historic sites. We’re only an hour from the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, the world famous Allagash Wilderness Waterway, and whale watching on the St. Lawrence Seaway in Québec. Add another couple hours and you’ll be in Québec City, a World UNESCO site.
